there's something i reallyreally love about "bad" photographs.
they are cropped wierdly
subject is way off center
too busy
flashed out
not great colors
strange facial expressions
nothing is "ready"
the sort of photos you find all jumbled together in an old photo box in the back of your closet but they just weren't good enough for frames or albums but not bad enough to just throw away.
something very "life" about them. and sweet.
do you know what i mean?

there is definitely an old box of rejects in my old room on Oxbridge Drive. I was looking through it at Christmas and it seemed to me like buried treasure.

i love this post and love i feel like i've been given a window into colorado. bad photos do that sometimes.... on rare occasions. oh and your banner is crazy great!
