these two things are always kept at grab-distance. usually in the pocket of my jeans, my coat, my bag or in the small pocket of my messenger bag. if i lose either, my life is completely and swiftly over.

this is eric's room we're hanging out in notice everything is floor-level. even the bed. his lap top is on top of an overturned card board box and his raincoat doubles as his curtain. that sheet on his bed was just $1.50! brand new though. and yes, that's his trash bag hanging cockeyed on the wall:) we're just poor kids livin in the city:)
speaking of poor, i had such a horrible eating day. breakfast at 6am, poptarts and snack bag of chips at three and a cup of tomato soup at 11:30 with a race cake. i need to go grocery shopping, i just never have the time or when i have time, no energy. i've got rice cakes, nutella, sunflowers seeds, half a box of honey bunches of oats and raisins. what do i do with that?
ps. i have the most wonderful housemates.!! i come home tonight to eric sitting on the couch with my housemate, ben volta. there's just chitchatting and i'm completely worn out from my day ( i got home at 11:00pm after getting to school at 8:00am) and just want to chill and that's exactly what i got to do. this guy and his new wife, elise, are just about the two cutest, most friendly people. they showed us their weddding invite which was actually a cootie-catcher. you remember those from 5th grade? they folded 120 of those! and it was just wonderful to sit and talk with some people who were alot like us. it was probably the best part of my day. those are the times when i feel most like myself; the times i'm just sitting and talking and tired and in my socks. AND we got invited to a small group tomorrow night!! right here in my house. i'm so pumped. i need some fellow xians in my life. moore is quite the wasteland!
must sleep now. the clock is ticking mercilessly on.

fall break gang
my belly looks a little bit pregnant here. it is not. oh the joys of babydoll tops!
this is when micheal or michael (no. i don't know how to spell his name)and sienna picked us up from the nashville airport for our CRAZY two day stay at covenant this past weekend. very very strange being back. way more than i thought it would. good to see familiar faces. SO many familiar faces.
and now i am back and feeling a bit like i'm back home. that's good, right?

21 books in 2 days. (well, not really but sort of)

i have to create 21 tiny books (all the same one, just many copies) for my book, box and portfolio class.
it mostly must be told in pictures
but we can use a sentence or two,
the entire book will be made from one sheet of paper (folded up very small-ly),
it must be a narrative
the idea should be simple
nothing 3D can be involved.
i know there's a perfect idea out there waiting for me but i need some help getting started.
help!
leave ideas in my comment thread.
my mock-up is due wednesday.
ps. i was thinking of using a strand of lyrics by joni or cash or innocence mission..any good ones come to mind?
